AI for Logistics Operations

FutureSight is seeking an experienced and visionary Founding CEO to lead the launch of a new AI-native exception resolution system for mid-market logistics teams including shippers, 3PLs, freight forwarders, and distributors.

Mid-market logistics operations are governed by documents — Bills of Lading, customs forms, invoices, PODs, compliance certificates, and contracts — with most teams managing these through email, PDFs, portals, and spreadsheets. When documents are missing, incorrect, or inconsistent, shipments stall, costs spike, and ops teams spend most of their time firefighting exceptions instead of managing flow.

This problem excites us because it’s pure execution.

High document volume. Constant exceptions. Repetitive checks. Clear operational outcomes.

And yet, most mid-market logistics teams spend the majority of their time chasing paperwork across PDFs, emails, portals, and systems—manually reconciling what’s missing, what’s wrong, and who needs to act.

Our belief is simple: 

AI should own this work—understanding documents in context, detecting exceptions as they happen, and guiding resolution—so operators can focus on keeping freight moving instead of firefighting preventable delays.

As the Founding CEO, you will:

1. Win customers by running pilots, shaping pricing, and validating retention + expansion.

2. Work with FutureSight’s product and engineering pod to launch your V1.

3. Hire your founding team and set the cultural foundation. And Lead the seed round with FutureSight’s initial investment.
